Profile:
Jim Storrie began his career at Airdrie before being signed by Don Revie for Leeds United as a proven goalscorer for a fee of 15,000 in 1962 and helped Leeds win promotion to the First Division in the 1963-64. Storrie was signed by Eddie Turnbull in a bid to bolster his attack. He went on to make his Aberdeen debut against Hearts at Tynecastle on 4th March 1967. Storrie scored in the Dons SC quarter final replay at Pittodrie against Hibernian before the biggest ever midweek attendance of 44,000. He was also the Dons centre forward that played in the 1967 Scottish Cup Final against Celtic. Storrie played 25 competitive games for Aberdeen, scoring 11 goals. He was a member of the famous Washington Whips side that took the USA by storm in the Summer of '67.

Storrie also had the distinction of scoring in the Dons first ever European tie against Reykjavik in the 1967 ECWC.
