The Aberdeen 7 - 1 Peterhead
Kick Off:
Attendance: 0
Venue: Chanonry, Aberdeen
The Peterhead paid another visit to the city, this time to Chanonry, the ground of the Aberdeen. Both teams were well represented. As may be gathered from the result, the visitors met a warm reception. The play of the Aberdeen was far superior to that of their opponents, although the Peterhead, possessed of considerable strength, often succeeded, in getting the better of the tussles with the weaker members of the ground eleven. During the first half, the Aberdeen, by really smart tactics, defeated the Peterhead custodian no fewer than five times, In the second half the play was more on an equality, but the Aberdeen maintained the superiority, and added other two points; before the Peterhead scored one, which was obtained towards the close. Result: Aberdeen, 7: Peterhead, 1.

Aberdeen made a sad mess of Peterhead (7-1) at Chanonry. The "convicts" are not a strong band outwith the gates of the fishing village.
