Kilmarnock 'A' Beaten At Pittodrie

Aberdeen A returned to winning form at Pittodrie on Saturday, when they defeated the Kilmarnock reserves by three goals to one. The result just about represents the run of play, the visitors putting up a good fight for the full ninety minutes.
The home team were best served by Donald, Smith, 'Newman' and Dickie. 'Newman' it transpires, is James Bulloch, of Royal Albert.
Smith, in the opening minutes, gave Aberdeen the lead from a David slip. The homesters had the better of the exchanges at this stage, and David and Dickie had good tries.
Kilmarnock retaliated and Cumming was called into action by Wales.
The Aberdeen front rank, well backed by the intermediate line, worked smoothly, and Wilson did well to save from Smith, and the second attempt from David.
The Rugby Park raids were always fraught with danger, and near the interval Wales, from a Kenmure pass, levelled the scores.

Dons' Bright Start.

Aberdeen made a bright start, and after Smith had missed narrowly, Paterson accepted a Warnock slip to screw the ball into the net.
The visitors almost equalised in the next minute. Stewart striking the crossbar from a free kick.
The Pittodrie team were soon on the offensive again, and Wilson, the ex-Inverurie lad whom the visitors had in goal, made a brilliant save from Smith. Kenmure shot narrowly past the Aberdeen end, and in another raid the homesters were lucky to scramble the ball away.
A third goal Smith made the points secure for Aberdeen.
