Practice Match at Pittodrie
A practice match was played at Pittodrie Park, Aberdeen, last night. There was a very large crowd of spectators, numbering between 4000 and 5000. Admission was free, but the collection on behalf of local charities was made during the game. The teams were equally balanced, the First Team forwards and the A Team defence playing against the A Team's forwards and the First Team's defence. Teams:-

First Team: Macfarlane; McIntosh, Brebner; Halkett, Low, S. Davidson; Bell, Findlay, Lawrie, B. Murray, Booth.
Second Team: Mutch; Hume, Hay; Morgan, Simpson, Robertson; Macdonald, Simpson, Murray, O'Hagan, Lennie.
Mr. Peter Simpson was referee.

The First Team kicked off, and easily got the better of the defence, although they met their match in Mutch. Shots were rained upon Mutch from all points, but he was equal to them all. Macfarlane had not so much to do, as he had a more reliable pair of backs in front of him. Lennie and O'Hagan gave a capital exhibition of fancy footwork, repeatedly getting the better of the First Team defence. At half-time no goals had been scored.

On resuming the Second Team were splendidly led by Murray, who had several good tries for goal. The tables were turned in the second half, Mutch having comparatively little to do, while Macfarlane's position was no sinecure, he having to hold very hot shots from O'Hagan and Lennie, the former hitting the crossbar twice in succession. Brebner was very clever in intercepting the dangerous passes from Macdonald, while McIntosh was not far behind in this department. Macfarlane brought off the best save of the match two wards the close, Murray testing him with a very swift shot. An enjoyable game resulted in a draw, there being no scoring.
