These teams met on the Market Muir at Huntly on Saturday. The A team was at full strength, and Huntly was strongly represented. Huntly kicked off, and immediately the visitors pressed, I and, from a finely-combined effort, Aberdeen scored during the first 5 minutes. Huntly equalise 5 minutes later. Huntly played a plucky game, but they were no match for their opponents fine combination, and at half-time the score was Aberdeen 5, Huntly 1.

In the second half Huntly had their full share of the play, and Aberdeen could only add another goal to their score. The game ended Aberdeen 6, Huntly 1. The play on both sides was pretty evenly displayed all over.

The A Team at Huntly.

Aberdeen sent a fairly strong team of their reserves to Huntly on Saturday, when a pleasant game was played. Ritchie, who has had to stand down from the team for a considerable time owing to influenza, signalised his reappearance by scoring four out of the six goals which were put on. The home side showed a marked improvement in play from the last visit, and they only require to meet good teams to draw out what is in them. They have a pair of good backs, who only require more experience to shine, but their halves are like most country teams, bang the ball away at any cost, without trying to feed their forwards. The forwards were clever individually, but slack at goal. They managed to beat, Mutch once, and were delighted at the result. Another game or two of a similar nature would do the Strathhogie lads a world of good in the.way of improving their play.
