Aberdeen 'A' Win Easily

Kilmarnock Fail at Home.

Aberdeen reserves gained a decisive victory by four goals to nil over Kilmarnock "A" at Rugby Park.

The young Dons opened confidently, and with ten minutes gone Donald opened the scoring in a melee.
A few minutes later Warnock added a second from long range.
Kilmarnock were kept mostly on the defensive, but in a breakaway Cumming saved a grand try by Nicolson.
Aberdeen played clever football, and before the interval smart work by Donald resulted in David notching a third goal.

Kilmarnock showed improvement in the second period, and Napier and Melvin almost counted.
Aberdeen were unfortunate when a fine try by Donald struck the upright, and David twice hit the crossbar.
Spence, in the home goal, distinguished himself with a grand save from Falloon.
Tempers became ruffled, and, as a result, play deteriorated. Towards the end Kilmarnock rallied, but the Aberdeen defence was sound, and in a counterattack Warnock headed home a fourth goal.
