Poor Display Given At Pittodrie

Students Prove no Match for Aberdeen A.

A poor attendance saw as poor a game at Pittodrie Park yesterday afternoon where Aberdeen "A" were opposed by Aberdeen University in a friendly.
The object of the match was to raise funds for thee students to go on a tour in the north. This object certainly failed.
The game was very one-sided, and scarcely ever were the students dangerous.
Adam scored Aberdeen's first goal after six minutes' play and Dickie scored another Just before half-time.
The second half was a repetition of the first. The University men had a few spasmodic dashes, but the Aberdeen defence was never greatly troubled.

G. J. G. Milton in Form.

Gordon is quite good centre-forward, but he showed a distinct tendency to hang to the ball too long.
Gibson scored both Aberdeen's goals in the second half. Best for Aberdeen were McLaren, Godfrey, Armstrong, and Black, while for the students, G. J. G. Milton played the game of his life. His covering up was good.
A. Cantlay played well, as did R. Dallas and G. Stewart.
