Fraserburgh's Fine Revival

Spirited Second-Half Display Against Aberdeen.

A large crowd of spectators at Bellslea Park, Fraserburgh, saw a capital game between the local club and Aberdeen, who won 6-4, the homesters giving a fine second half display.

Fraserburgh were outpaced in the first half, but were unfortunate to miss a penalty, which Cumming saved in a spectacular manner. The Aberdeen left-wing was outstanding, and fifteen minutes from the start Adam opened the scoring. A little later Hill found the net, and also scored No. 3.
Crossing over, Fraserburgh fought back valiantly, and scored four times to their opponents' thrice. Low got clean away and sent the ball across the goalmouth. Duncan ran in and gave Cumming no chance. Then Armstrong accepted a pass from the centre and left Anderson standing.
Taking free kick at midfield McGregor sent a in fine shot which Cumming partially cleared, and Taylor netted. The Dons attacked vigorously, and Armstrong, after beating the defence and drawing out Anderson, shot into an empty goal.
Fraserburgh had fight still left in them, and from cross by Milne, Taylor beat Cumming from five yards out. Galloway, who was playing a great game, tricked two opponents and rattled the rigging with a lightning delivery.
The longer the homesters played the better was their display. Taylor crossed to Duncan, who had the better of an argument with Sharp, and his parting shot was unsaveable.
