Attendance: 0
Venue: Dens Park, Dundee
Aberdeen A traveled to Dundee on Saturday and engaged Dundee A, and Dens Park, in a friendly game. Teams:-

Dundee A: Bernard; Lorimer, Harper; Kennedy, Ramsay, Marnie; McLeish, McDonald, "Walker", "Smith", Jackson.
Aberdeen A: Mutch; Hannah, Brebner; Davidson, Simpson, Drain; Muir, McKinley, Collins, Wilson, Robertson.
Referee - Mr. A Thow, Dundee.

Dundee A had the best of the early exchanges, and Ramsey got their first goal in a simple fashion' Mutch catching the ball from a shot by Ramsay, and letting it go over his shoulder. Muir was responsible for the equaliser. He centred nicely, and Wilson, getting the ball, banged it home. Dundee A soon took the lead, Marnie sending in a long, drooping shot that both Hannah and Mutch missed. The ball rolled slowly into the net.

On restarting, Aberdeen A at once took the game in hand, and from a corner Wilson equalised. Wilson gave Aberdeen the lead a few minutes later when notching a third goal. After this reverse Dundee A began to warm up again, and McLeish was brought down within the penalty area. Dundee A was awarded a penalty and Marnie scored from the free kick. End to end play followed, and the game ended - Dundee A 3, Aberdeen A to 3.

Aerdeen A at Dundee.

Out of a League fixture for the day Aberdeen's reserves were at Dens Park, where a friendly game was played. The teams were fairly equal in play, and but for some fine goalkeeping by Bernard, for the home side, the visitors would have won. We are glad to note a return to form by Wilson, who shot all three goals for Aberdeen, and narrowly missed putting them on the lead. We trust this is but the beginning of future feats by this worthy forward who has been under a cloud so far as the season has gone. With a good shot in the front line the reserves ought to go a good bit higher in the League.
