Scottish Second XI Cup Second Round Replay
Aberdeen 0 - 2 Celtic
Kick Off:  2:30 PM
Attendance: 0
Venue: Pittodrie Stadium, Aberdeen
What Happened?
Whilst their "big brothers" were fighting at Easter Road, the Young Dons had a "little battle" at Pittodrie - and what a "hash" they made of it! Nothing would go right for the Reserves and the harder they tried, the worse they looked. It was just "one of those games," and the sooner all forget about it the better. Those supporters who were present last season at the Reserve League Cup tie with Falkirk "A" will remember a similar game. On that occasion the visitors were 1-4 behind after the Brockville game but at Pittodrie they came "up from behind" to register a 4-0 victory and shatter the hopes of the home side. The Young Dons must forget about the Celtic "A" defeat and concentrate on their league matches. They are still interested, too, in the destination of the Reserve League Cup, so they can still finish the season in a blaze of glory.
