Aberdeen 2 - 0 Hibernian
Kick Off:  2:15 PM   Paterson 40, David 65.
Attendance: 5,000
Venue: Pittodrie Stadium, Aberdeen
Win For Aberdeen 'A'
Poor fare was served up at Pittodrie, where Aberdeen A defeated the Hibernian reserves by two goals to nil.

The outfield play of both teams, especially Aberdeen, was delightful, but when it came to finishing they simply faded out. The home team's outstanding men were Falloon and Dickie.
Play was of a very interesting nature at the start, but quickly deteriorated. David, Paterson, and Dickie had tries for the young Dons, but none were really goalworthy.
Bradley and Paterson were prominent for the visitors, but the inside forwards were well held by the home defence.
The Hibs goal was very lucky to escape disaster, when Blyth, only by a superhuman effort, managed to throw himself on a shot by David which was going over the line. Again Dame Fortune smiled on the Edinburgh side when probable counters by the centre forward and Warnock were blocked.
Five minutes from the interval, consistent pressure by the Pittodrie side was rewarded when Paterson netted from a melee.

Bradley had Cumming early action in the second period, and the Aberdeen keeper did well to save a great drive Dobson. The homesters quickly retaliated, and Blyth, with a splendid one-handed save, kept a Dickie effort from entering the net.
Twenty minutes after the restart David partially connected with a Smith cross to secure Aberdeen's second point. Play following this was featureless, although Aberdeen continued to hold the advantage. Attendance. 5000.
