Aberdeen 'A' Unlucky

Alliance Game at Paisley Ends in Draw.

Aberdeen "A" were a trifle unfortunate to drop point in a goalless Alliance game with St Mirren "A" at Paisley.

With the aid of the wind Aberdeen made the running at the start, and Armstrong struck the crossbar with a header. Saints had several raids, but the Aberdeen defence was sound, especially Black at centre-half.
The young Dons were much the better team and were unlucky not to be in the lead. Warnock, Armstrong, and Dickie all had fine tries.
The homesters showed up well towards the interval, and Black was twice cautioned by the referee.

Aberdeen opened the second half strongly, and were unfortunate when fine a shot by Armstrong got the upright. In another Saints' raid Cumming saved smartly from Leighton.
Play became of more even nature towards the close, but the Paisley Saints were very lucky to save a point.
