Partick 'A' Unbeaten

Aberdeen Reserves Unlucky to Lose.

Aberdeen "A" were a trifle unlucky to lose both points to Partick Thistle reserves at Firhill. The home team, who have not been beaten so far, won by the odd goal in three.

Aberdeen opened confidently, and Warnock was held in the act of going through. A corner followed, and then Beattie failed to take advantage of a cross from David.
Partick retaliated strongly, and after Cumming had saved from Wyllie, Pope opened the scoring.
Aberdeen went all out for the equaliser, and Beattie shot past, and Wilson saved from Donald.
The interval arrived with Thistle still leading, however.

Partick missed a chance early in the second half, when Jenkins skied a Turner cross well over.
Aberdeen were playing good football, and their raids were always fraught with danger. With 30 minutes gone, David notched the equaliser, but a soft goal by McGillivray near the close gave Thistle the points.
