Profile: |
|
A key member of the side who is underrated by some in the media and the stands but not
his team mates. He was an established Scotland U-21 international and made his debut
as far back as May 2003 as a substitute against Partick Thistle and has now featured in
almost 200 first team games, scoring eight times. His pace allied to his power are his
biggest assets and he has been used in a wide variety of roles in the past - right, left and
in the middle of defence and midfield. His versatility sometimes works against him as he
is consistently changing positions but he flourished during the 2006/07 when he spent
the whole season in the left back role. Has also gained a reputation as a good man marker.
