Profile: |
Steve was a good, solid, all-round pro for the Dons but was ufortunate that his versatility, combined with injuries, kept him from securing a regular spot in the first team. During his time at Pittodrie Steve played in almost every position including in goal when Bryan Gunn was sent off in a reserve match against St Mirren.
One of Steve's best remembered goals came in the Drybrough Cup Final at Hampden Park against St Mirren. The long range effort secured the trophy for the Dons who were the first and last winners of the tournament.
