Profile: |
As with many developing goalkeepers, Stephen Becket was restricted in opportunities to feature beyond the reserves at Pittodrie because he was in line behind Jim Leighton and Michael Watt. He was, however, the regular keeper in the reserve team in season 1987-88. Played for the first team against Dawlish Town in pre-season 1987. Played in goal in the famous 5-3 victory over Celtic in the BP Youth Cup in season 1984-85.
