Aberdeen's full league team played a match in the Victoria Park, Buckie, last night with Buckie Thistle in favorable weather. Aberdeen took Buckie rather cheaply, and the latter opened the scoring through Robertson 4 minutes from the start. Buckie kept up the pressure, and shot fruitlessly. Aberdeen retaliated, but sent past. Aberdeen missed scoring off two corners. After 20 minutes' play, J. Stewart scored a second goal for Buckie off a corner. Aberdeen opened the scoring through a smart header by Wyllie.
Buckie maintained the pressure, playing the game of the season. Stewart shot, but the ball struck the crossbar. Greig, the Aberdeen custodian, did some very fine saving. Aberdeen felled the necessity for doing something, but were over anxious to score. Ultimately they scored a soft goal through Maine 20 minutes from time. Another goal by Maine gave Aberdeen the lead. Buckie weakened up, and from what work Clark equalized from close in.
