Aberdeen Player Show Their Paces

The Aberdeen Club played its second and final trial game at Pittodrie last night, and about 13,000 spectators thoroughly enjoyed what was a thorough try out, and a keen match. The teams were so constituted that the Black and Gold side included the players who for the greater part of last season constituted the first eleven defence. and the first team forwards were on the side of the Whites. The game ended in a draw of three goals each, Lawson Miller, and Reid for the Whites, and Carroll (two), and Jackson for the Black and Gold being the scorers. A trial was given at centre-half for the Whites to W. Adams. a player who has had experience of American football, and he created a very favourable impression. The general opinion among the spectators at the close was that the club has got together a very serviceable set of players, and that it should do well during the coming season.
