The Aberdeen players should be glad to forget their last Scottish League match of the season against Third Lanark at Cathkin (writes Norman macdonald)
If Saturday's display is taken as a yardstick, Aberdeen FC will require a transfusion of youthful blood if they mean to make their presence felt in Scottish football next season. There were no medals for the Pittodrie players on Saturday.
I liked Boyd. The young fellow did not receive the ball too frequently but he was keen and enterprising. Hamilton tried hard without threatening much danger, but the other forwards will want to forget this match.
Ian Rodger and Bogan have joined the party for the English tour.
