Supporters will be tired reading of how badly the Dons played at Paisley. It wouldn't have been so bad if the opposition had been outstanding. Apart from their wing halves and veteran Lapsley at back, there were no players who "stood out" in the home side, but the Dons "footered" their way to defeat. Against hard tackling opposition our players persisted in close passing and time after time we found ourselves in defence when we should have been clustering round Lornie's charge. One very annoying feature is that the Dons surprised the opposition as much as their supporters, by the feebleness of their display.
