Keith Burkinshaw's first game in charge as caretaker boss ends in a share of the spoils as the Dons at last show that they can play for 90 minutes.

The opening forty-five was dominated by the visitors, with only some world class goalkeeping by Jim Leighton preventing them taking the lead. With half time looming, Eoin Jess fired an unstppable shot from 25 yards out to give Aberdeen the interval advantage.

A far post header from Albertz squared things early in the second half and although that was the end of the scoring, both Leighton and Goram produced fantastic saves, none more so than the latter's stop from substitute Ricky Gillies, who should have done better with the rebound.

Tzvetanov replaced Miller at half time wiyh Gillies coming on for Kiriakov, who sustained an injury. The Dons had Anderson, O'Neil, Smith, Kiriakov and Glass booked.
