Gould looked lively again, making another save, this time from Stephen Glass after slack play by Celtic. Henrik Larsson opened the scoring against the run of play, when he fired home from 6 yards after the ball had broken kindly for the visiting side.

The Dons never really got going in the second half and were made to pay when Darren Jackson made it 2-0, reacting first to the loose ball after a fine save by Jim Leighton from Regi Blinker.
