Dons and Well Share Pittodre Spoils |
 |
In an extremely disappointing match at Pittodrie, the Dons and Motherwell fought
out a drab 1-1 draw in which Eoin JESS gave the home side the lead with a tremendous
drive after only seven minutes.
The visitors deservedly levelled in the thirty-fourth minute when Owen COYLE
took advantage of a mistake by Andy Dow to prod the ball past Jim Leighton.
The second half was a slight improvement in terms of the pace it was played
at but in the end the Steelmen were far happier with the outcome and the home
support made their displeasure known by booing their team off at the end.
