Dons Now 8 Games Without Win |
 |
Aberdeen have been beaten at Tannadice, making it 8 consecutive games without a win. Gary Mcswegan got the only goal of the game, after good work from Billy Dodds, in 22 minutes. A long free-kick from keeper Dykstra was headed on by Dodds, and ex-rangers striker Gary Mcswegan struck it home.
Despite close chances for both teams, neither could get the second goal of the match. Gary Mcswegan came closest for United on a few ocassions, but he couldn't find a way through.
As the game went into the final five minutes, Aberdeen pressed for the equaliser, and a Gary Smith header hit the post with three minutes remaining.
