Dons Outclass Hibs
ABERDEEN are once more at the top of the North-Eastern League, and on Saturday's form when they defeated Hibs at Edinburgh by five clear goals they are worthy leaders.

East Fife are equal with the Dons in points, but the latter have the better goal average.
For fifty minutes Hibs offered stiff opposition, but during the greater portion of the second half, the Pittodrie team outplayed and outclassed their opponents. It was one of the grandest exhibitions the Dons have given for a long time.
Hibs owed a great debt to Kerr, their goalkeeper. He had some remarkable saves, and certainly orevented a heavier defeat. Johnstone, the Aberdeen custodian, was seen at his best during the opening five minutes of the second half, when Hibs threw everything into attack.
Cooper and Ancell were grand backs, but the half-backs were the team's strong division. Dunlop and Taylor were at the top of their form. Gavin, although mostly defending, also excelled in constructive work.
Pattillo led with fine dash. Ferguson was the schemer, and Dryden, his partner, scintillated, revealing tremendous speed and powerful shooting. Gourlay was also a good inside forward, and Bain, although out of position, played his part well.
Apart from kerr, Hibs' other outstanding men were Govan at right back, Newman at centre-half, and Leishman at outside right.
