Aberdeen reserves played the last of their Highland League fixtures with the Caledonian at Inverness on Saturday afternoon. They have come through the Highland League competition without a defeat. Aberdeen were easily the superior team, and early in the game their outside left, Milne, scored for them. Shortly after the popular ex-Highland player, McIntosh, headed the second. Continuing to play fine football, Aberdeen were all over their opponents, and the third goal came as the result of bungling on the part of the home defence.
Again in the second period Aberdeen were superior, and it must be admitted that they were never stretched. McIntosh headed their fourth goal. Their subsequent play, if perhaps not so brilliant as their earlier play, was always a superior description to the local club.
