In the Alliance League at Hampden, Queen's Park Strollers beat Aberdeen A by 5 goals to 4. At an early stage of the game Aberdeen held a commanding lead of two goals, Mutch and Ritchie being the scorers. In the last quarter-of-an-hour in the first half the Pittodrie defence collapsed, and Strollers rattled in four goals, A. Morton (3) and R. Goodwin being the scorers. In an exciting second half, Spalding and Forbes counted for Aberdeen, and McNee for the Strollers.
