Victory For Aberdeen 'A'
The Aberdeen reserve team accomplished a capital performance when they defeated Falkirk Reserves in an Alliance match by 3 goals to 2. Early in the game Gourlay netted for the home team, but D. Thomson promptly equalised with a clever individual effort. The Aberdeen forwards showed good form, and Connon gave his side a well-deserved lead. Before the interval D. Thomson finished an individual run by scoring a third goal, and Aberdeen "A" led at half-time by 3-1. In the second period play ruled from end to end, clever forward movements being countered by sound defences. Near the close Godfrey netted for the home team, but Aberdeen were worthy winners.
