DONS SPARKLE AT ELGIN.

One the largest crowds of the season saw Aberdeen defeat Elgin City at Borough Briggs last night by five goals to nil. The Dons gave a delightful exhibition of football. Love and Cheyne the particular bright lights. Although Aberdeen played welt within themselves they were times defending grimly, and their keeper had some fine shots to save.
Aberdeen led by four goals at the interval, Dickie (three) and Oliphant being the marksmen.
In the second half Kelman failed to convert when he had only Blackwell beat. The Aberdeen custodian effected a brilliant save. Oliphant increased the Dons' lead to five goals.
