Aberdeen Easily Defeat Keith.
Aberdeen had an easy passage into the final of the Aberdeenshire County Cup competition at Kynoch Park last night, when they defeated Keith by 7-0. The Keith defence put up a good fight in the first half, but Hill and Merrie enabled Aberdeen to lead by 2-0 at the interval. In the second half Aberdeen played delightful football and brought their total up to seven, Merrie (2), Hill, Smith, and Wilson being the scorers. The score gives an accurate indication the play, and Aberdeen, had they so desired, might have won by a more decisive margin.Source: Press & Journal, 10th April 1930
