Aberdeen 1 - 1 Leith Athletic

In an Eastern League game at Pittodrie yesterday Aberdeen A and Leith Athletic fought a draw, each team scoring once. The small attendance of spectators was treated to a poor exhibition of football. Generally the home eleven were the attacking side, but their efforts to get through were weak, although Grant and Chalmers were each unfortunate. The Athletic came very near to winning, as in a break-away five minutes from the end, following slackness on the part of the home defence, Nicholson put them ahead. In a rousing finish Grant got the equaliser. The display of both teams was very disappointing.
