Played at Pittodrie. Teams:- Aberdeen: Ritchie; J. Mackie, C. W. Mackie; Black, Thomson, Murphy; Clark, Barron, Wilson, Wildine, Newman. Thistle: Halkett; Stewart, Finlayson; Gunn, Grant, Campbell; Clark, Black, Fraser, H. Grant, Maitland. Referee - Mr. J. H. Russell.

The ground was in wretched condition, but notwithstanding the game was an interesting one, and was very evenly fought. At half-time there was no scoring. Aberdeen had the best of the second half, and frequently invaded. Owing to darkness the game had to be stopped twenty minutes from time, neither team having scored.
