A very interesting football much was played at Pittodrie, Aberdeen, last night, the team representing the Aberdeen A and a select local junior team played a friendly game in aid of the funds of the Aberdeenshire Football Association and the Aberdeen and District Football League. One there was a fair attendants when the teams lined up as follows:-
Aberdeen A: Fordyce; Robertson, Willox; Laing, Macfarlane, Davidson; Hamilton, Law, Macfarren, Brown, Henderson.
Select Juniors: Mutch; Henderson, Murphie; Bell, Findlay, Warrender; Mackay, Leslie, Lawrie, Law, Vass.
Referee - Mr. A. Watt, Aberdeen.
The game opened briskly, and play all through the first half was very fast. And half-time there was no scoring.
To in the second half Aberdeen had slightly the advantage, and occasionally pressed very hard. The game ended in favour of Aberdeen by two goals to nil. The gate money amounted to £8 14s 7d.
