Young Dons Held To Draw

Kilmarnock Forward Scores Four Goals,

Aberdeen "A" should have made sure of both Scottish Alliance points against Kilmarnock "A" at Pittodrie. Turning round with a 3-1 lead, the Young Dons made most of the running in the second half, but the home forwards did not make the most of their chances. True, they had cruel luck on occasions, but a little more care in shooting would have paid.
Kilmarnock had to thank the opportunism of Landsborough, their inside-right, for their point. His feat of scoring four goals, one from a penalty, capped a fine display. He was always the most dangerous Ayrshire raider.

Devers Gets Two.

Devers, who scored two of the home goals, one from the penalty spot, was Aberdeen 'A's' No. 1 man. He led the line with skill, and revealed fine shooting power. Johnston and J. Westland, the latter making his first appearance for the season, made up the home total.
Norman Smith, of the local Banks o" Dee, again impressed at left back. Gavin dominated the centre of the field. Robertson, the old Pittodrie player, was at outside-left for the visitors, but got few chances to shine.
Just before Landsborough scored his side's fourth goal a few minutes from the close, a shot by Westland came out, and the homesters claimed a goal, but without success. From the stand looked as if the ball had first passed into the net.
