Young Dons Rampant in Benefit Match at Buckie
Aberdeen provided the opposition at Victoria Park, Buckie, last night in a benefit match for A. Cowie, the Buckie player. There was a good attendance. Aberdeen were a goal up in the first minute, Scott heading a cross from the left. The same player quickly added two more. Bowie got through to score for the homesters, but before half-time Bain and Scott brought the visitors' total to five. Smith got a sixth goal for Aberdeen in the second half. Near the end Middleton was knocked out by the ball, and carried off, but he quickly recovered.Source: Press & Journal, 12th September 1935
