THE Dons' reserves found the winning way at Pittodrie to break at last a long, lean spell. Yorston, who, with a header, got the only goal to give Dons the points, showed his usual good touches - and at times was exasperatingly feeble. Hume alone had real punch. Walker could make nothing of Winter.
if at times it creaked, the home reserve defence never broke. Cruicksh&nk, up against the best wing on the field, came out of the encounter with honours. Kelly never made a false move that was vital.
The hard-working Clark was a good partner for craftv Cooper and Merchant, the other big fellow in the defence, paid his way.
