Young Dons' Defence Cracks in Second Half

Aberdeen reserves cracked in the second half of their Leeague fixture with Morton at Greenock and were beaten 6-4. The Pittodrie colts played grand football in the first half and held a 2-1 lead at the interval. Aberdeen marsmen were Waldron and Hume, while Jones netted for the home team.
Whne Colman increased the Young Dons' lead early in the second half the points looked safe for Pittodrie. Inexplicably the Aberdeen defence cracked. The half-backs lost their grip and the Morton forwards found goal-scoring easy.
