Young Dons Go Down Fighting Hard
A first-class entertainment from the North-eastern colts on a tricky surface. The Dons failed to bring off a Pittodrie double against the Dark Blues, but they made their rivals fight hard for the points.
Dundee took a long time get going, but they got their grip in the middle of the second half, and with the sting out of the visitors' play went on to register a good win.
Their three goals followed corner kicks. The visitors' centre forward, believed to be Frank Armstrong, of Inverness Caley, had a good first half.
Armstrong put the Dons in the lead after sixteen minutes, but Stott equalised five minutes from the interval.
It was anybody's game until the sixty-third minute, when Stewart put the Dark Blues ahead. He obliged with another three minutes from t1me.
