"C" Divsion Title Won By Young Dons

Although Aberdeen reserves were clearly ahead of Leith Athletic in all the arts and crafts of the game at Meadowbank on Saturday, they have their goalkeeper, Reggie Morrison, to thank for the two points and for the Division C (North-east) title that these gained them.
Morrison was usually well protected by a sound-tackling defence, but his cool, confident handling did a lot to settle those in front of him.
The only goal of the game came four minutes after half-time, and it was fitting that George Kelly, the liveliest forward afield should be the scorer.
A perfectly-timed header following a Boyd cross gave the Young Dons the goal that meant victory.
