Young Dons Dump County

Aberdeen moved into the next round of the SFA Youth Cup this afternoon with a 2-1 win over Ross County at Pittodrie but they left it very late.

County started the better the team and took the lead through Higgins after only 6 minutes. Aberdeen took control of the game after that and had numerous chances but went into the interval a goal down.

In the second half Aberdeen continued to push forward and the young Dons finally equalised after 79 minutes when Murray Watson scored. Aberdeen went looking for the winner and after some more missed opportunities Stephen Tarditi scored in the 90th minute.
