Aberdeen's poor run of form continued on Saturday with the Dons going down 2-0 at Parkhead against defending Champions Celtic. The Bhoys stunned the Dons early on, taking the lead through Simon Donnelly after only 12 minutes.Aberdeen did try to fight back and Robbie Winters was unlucky not to equalise when he shot straight at Jonathan Gould following a mix-up in the Celtic defence.
The Dons misery was compounded 19 minutes from time when Donnelly scored
a second, heading home the rebound from Jim Leighton's save. With the match
virtually over,
Alex Miller gave Michael Hart his second run out with the first team in an
attempt to bolster the youngster's experience. The Dons will now attempt
to pick up the
pieces at Fir Park on Saturday when they face Motherwell.
