The second half began, much the way the first had ended, with neither team taking control. However, with 58 minutes gone, Robbie Winters found space in the area and scored with a fantastic overhead kick.
With the score at 1-0, things were looking good and Aberdeen were fairly in control of the game. Eion Jess came close to scoring a 2nd for the dons when he hit the post, and at the other end Stillie saved from several Motherwell strikers to keep Aberdeen in front.
However, in the last minute of the game Motherwell were awarded a penalty when Paul Bernard was adjudged to have pushed Nevin in the area.
Shaun Teale struck the penalty well past Stillie to make the score 1-1. It was a sickening blow for the Dons who looked like winning the game, throughout the match.
FULL TIME SCORE: 1-1
