ROBBIE WINTERS was the hero once again for the Dons, as he grabbed the only goal of an otherwise appalling game. The goal was the first real chance of the match, and it came with 23 minutes remaining of the game. Neither team really got started in the first half, and there were no clear cut chances in the first half. Aberdeen were the slightly better of the two teams in the second half, and that paid off when Winters tapped in the only goal of the encounter after 67 minutes. The next chance came for Andy Dow, when he went on a superb run. He was unlucky not to make it 2-0, and the Dons had to settle for a corner. Nothing came from the corner and the opportunity fizzled out into nothing. Aberdeen held on for the remainder of the match, and can now face Dundee in the next SPL match with the confidence that they can stay in the top division.
