The Dons got back into the game against the run of play, and two goals within six minutes turned the game around. In the 38th minute, DAVID ROWSON fired a superb left foot shot into the corner of the net. Rowson was brilliant throughout, giving no less than 100 percent effort. ANDY DOW then gave the Dons a 2-1 lead, when he scored a great goal to give the Dons the advantage.
Aberdeen went in at half-time with a 2-1 advantage, but the lead was short lived. The home side grabbed an equaliser only 70 seconds into the second half, Youssef Rossi hitting the back of the net. Just over five minutes later, Dunfermline completely turned the game on it's head. Ex-Rangers player Barry Nicholson fired into the top corner of the net to make it 3-2, and score what was to be the winning goal.
Dunfermline nearly extended their lead on two occasions, Stevie Crawford hitting both efforts just wide, with the second being ruled offside when it looked like he would make it 4-2. However, Dunfermline held on to take all three points, while the Dons must now put the disappointment behind them, and look forward to saturday's match with St Mirren at Pittodrie.
