Huntly took the lead in the 57th minute after Dons keeper Esson blocked a cross from the right but Richie TAYLOR managed to knock the ball home. Huntly had much of the possession and looked the more likely to score a second but Aberdeen continued to defend well and managed to keep them out
"We defended well and Ryan (Esson) didn't have that much to do but we lacked that quality final ball and didn't pass well. We lost a sloppy goal and were quite lucky not to go down by more. It didn't look like we were going to get anything from the game but all credit to the players they kept on playing right until the referee blow the whistle and we got the result."
