Young Dons earn first win

The u19s won their first league game of the season this afternoon, beating Kilmarnock 2-1 at Auchincruive, Ayr. Aberdeen took the lead in the 25th minute through Ashley McINNES but Kilmarnock drew level just on the stroke of half-time through Steven NAISMITH. John BRUCE scored Aberdeen's second in the 68th minute to earn the young Dons three points.

There was more good news for one young Don, as David Donald (pictured) has been called up to the under 18 Scotland squad for next weeks Three Nations tournament.
