reserves grab first league win

The Dons second string returned to winning ways with a comfortable victory over their Tannadice rivals in an entertaining game at Links Park.

Aberdeen took the lead from the spot n the 33rd minute when Scott Muirhead was brought down when bursting through on goal. Muirhead had to go off following the incident, being replaced by John Bruce, and John STEWART made no mistake from the resultant kick.

The Dons extended their advantage in the 68th minute through Ricky FOSTER who fired a shot into the bottom right hand corner of the net.
