Winter strike earns draw for reserves

Goalkeeper David Preece produced several fine saves while new signing Lubomir Blaha came through his first full ninety minutes of the season in an entertaining SPL second string encounter at Links Park.

The visitors went in front in the 7th minute when ex-Don Bryan PRUNTY took advantage of a Ryan O'Leary mistake to shoot past Preece. The Dons were forced into a 23rd minute change when Markus Paatelainen hobbled off with a foot knock to be replaced by David Donald.

With twenty minutes of the game remaining, Aberdeen deservedly levelled when Jamie WINTER shot through a ruck of players from fifteen yards.

Three Dons, O'Leary, Andrew Considine and John Stewart, were yellow carded by referee Steve O'Reilly.
