Late goal denies young Dons

The u19s drew 2-2 this afternoon against Kilmarnock, in a game where they had plenty of chances to take all three points. Kilmarnock took an early lead in the game but Aberdeen drew level before the interval when Michele Lombardi found the back of the net from a Stephen Tarditi flick on.

Aberdeen continued to have good periods of pressure early in the second half and missed several opportunities to take the lead. A second goal did eventually come from an Andrew Considine header, however Kilmarnock fought back and scored a late equaliser to take a share of the points.

A disappointed Neil Cooper spoke to RedWeb after the game: "The condition of the pitch didn't really help but the boys battled hard. We missed a lot of chances and it's disappointing to lose a late goal as it was a game we should have won."
