u19s go down

Aberdeen U19s recent impressive unbeaten run came to an end on Sunday at a wet and windy Balgownie. In dreadful conditions Moffat scrambled home the first on 27 mins after the Dons defence had failed to clear.

Just before half time centre half Ryan Strachan missed a chance to level and that proved to be crucial as a minute after the restart Falkirk went two up with Mitchell scoring with a header from a corner.

Brian Neill, who has been in fine form on late, then had a chance to grab a goal back but it was not to be. Robertson made it 3-0 with a good strike on 62 minutes to give Falkirk a slightly flattering score line.
